Operations Coordinator (Happy Bee)

The Happy Bee will interact with interpreters, consumers, and customers by addressing scheduling matters and inquiries, resolving issues, and providing a high level of support on services that Linguabee provides, with a strong emphasis on an effortless experience for both customers and service providers.

Responsibilities

    Experience Coordination
  • Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) – a must in our Deaf-Centered environment, where language access is at the heart of everything we do.
  • Written English proficiency and strong communication skills including active listening and clear expression across email, text, phone, and other communication channels, supporting a culture of responsiveness and proactive communication with customers, providers, and consumers.
  • Comfortable operating in super-Tetris mode, juggling complexity, skilled at multitasking and able to manage multiple situations at once while maintaining focus and clarity, especially under pressure.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems promptly, gather and analyze information skillfully, develop alternative solutions, and maintain reason even in emotionally charged situations, reflecting the resilient spirit we value.
  • Embraces change, delays, or unexpected events with flexibility and grace, which reflects our resilient mindset.
  • Utilize computers and technology efficiently and able to learn new systems
  • Exercises discretion and independent judgment, showing thoughtfulness in decision-making.
  • Flexibility with work hours, including travel for occasional in-person region-wide company events.
  • Project Coordination
  • Support team leads with projects, carrying out assigned responsibilities to ensure the timely completion of high-quality deliverables.
  • Coordinate resources needed for project execution, including materials, equipment, and personnel.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving project-related issues, collaborating with team members to find solutions, and maintaining project momentum.

Qualifications

    Required

  • Preferred
  • Working knowledge of the interpreter code of ethics, interpreting standards and best practices, and/or experience within the interpreting field.
  • Actively engage in the interpreting community to stay connected with industry trends, build relationships, and contribute to professional development.
  • Familiarity with scheduling processes, coordination, and associated administrative tasks.
  • High proficiency in using scheduling software and basic office applications (such as Google Workspace).

Pay & Benefits

  • $50,585 - $67,585, annually. Actual pay may vary up or down depending on job-related factors, which may include location, knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits offered the first day of the month following first day of employment.
  • Additional benefits available include 401(k) match, life insurance, disability, and other supplemental insurance.
  • $35/month meal delivery stipend.
  • PTO, sick leave, and 9 paid holidays.
