Job Summary
The Happy Bee will interact with the company's customers, consumers, and interpreters by addressing scheduling matters, inquiries, and resolving matters, generally providing a higher level of support on specific services that we provide with a strong emphasis on effortless customer experience.

Responsibilities:

    Schedule
  • Monday through Friday 6a-8p MST
  • 8-hour shift. Hours may vary by week based on staffing needs
  • 1x a week weeknight on call
  • 1x a month weekend on call
  • Duties
  • Interacts with customers via telephone, email, online chat, or face to face to provide support and information with varying degrees of questions, concerns, and quotes for services.
  • Arrange any matters and schedules service providers for all qualified requests including after regular business hours (on-call)
  • Ensure appropriate actions are taken to resolve all parties’ problems, and concerns.
  • Maintains all parties’ accounts and records of interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
  • Responsible for the upkeep with multiple software applications to ensure all assignments are acknowledged and arranged to correct customers along with service providers.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Maintains strict consumer confidentiality and high professional standards.
  • Maintains knowledge of changing needs/requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Develop and maintain a strong relationship with all consumers, interpreters, and customers.
  • Maintain excellent quality control of every interaction through Linguabee.
  • Directly reports to Customer Experience and Scheduling Manager.
  • Required Skills and Abilities
  • Fluent in American Sign Language
  • Strong communication skills including active listening through email, text, phone.
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
  • Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Multitask multiple situations at once.
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new softwares.
  • Flexibility with work hours.
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgement.
  • Qualifications
  • Must have a good working knowledge of interpreter code of ethics or willingness to learn; willingness to show a strong understanding of deaf culture and communication access; sensitivity to consumer needs.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong Computer skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Customer service and strong people interaction skills are required.
  • Possessing knowledge of interpreting and deaf culture along with modes of communication and sign language is a must.
  • Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to multitask with multiple programs and softwares along with handling virtual meetings.
  • Professional attire.

Pay and Benefits

  • Salary: $45,000 a year depending on experience.
  • Bonus plan based on individual, team, and company performance.
