Job Summary
This position primarily provides scheduling support for Linguabee, a Deaf-owned and Deaf-run sign language interpreting agency. This position monitor and ensures that each job is effectively scheduled to meet the needs of the consumers with accuracy and efficiency while also providing customer service support for our consumers, customers, and interpreters throughout our multiple locations across the U.S.

Work Environment
This job operates in your home office environment with a clean, professional background without any distractions. You will need standard office equipment such as a computer, a second monitor for the computer and we will supply another monitor and a video phone.

Responsibilities:

    Duties
  • Answer incoming video phone calls, texts, emails, and live support chat. Prioritize the needs of callers and maintains clear and timely communication with contracted interpreters and customers to ensure confirmation of requested services and customer satisfaction.
  • Assesses all requests to make the optimal match for assignments, using the information in the platform and consultation with the manager if needed.
  • Monitor multiple communication channels such as email, live support, text and more.
  • Maintain schedules to ensure coverage.
  • Review, verify, and processes requests (completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance).

  • Ability to establish and maintain professional, cooperative, and effective communication regarding services with customers, consumers, and interpreters.
  • Commitment to keep the manager and other appropriate people informed of changes, issues, or concerns at all times.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, agency partners, and staff.
  • Accepts responsibility and accountability for their actions, decisions, and professionalism.
  • Ability to communicate thoroughly respectfully and effectively with multiple parties.

This position has access to confidential and sensitive information relating to our service providers, customers, and consumers. You must maintain the integrity to keep the information in confidence within Linguabee.
